Nuulee brings its cashmere archive to 173 Elizabeth Street in Nolita for five days this September, with every style 30% to 50% off.
Nuulee is a cashmere label designed in New York and made in Mongolia. The name means "I am moving" in Mongolian, after the seasonal movement of the herding families the brand buys its fiber from - families who have raised cashmere goats for generations. The cashmere is combed by hand in spring, hand-sorted, and knitted by Mongolian artisans, and the brand is open about where every step happens. It is the kind of cashmere you have to handle to judge, which is the argument for shopping an archive in person rather than online.
What to expect: past-season pieces from the women's and men's collections - knit tops, dresses, trousers and accessories in the brand's signature Mongolian cashmere and quiet, refined silhouettes - all 30% to 50% off, out on the racks to touch and try on, just in time for fall. Sizes and colors are limited to what is left in the archive, so the best pieces tend to go early in the week.
No ticket or RSVP needed. Walk in any day of the run.
