Mongolian cashmere comes to Nolita for the winter, with nuulee New York taking 173 Elizabeth Street from the middle of October until just before Christmas.
nuulee makes luxury cashmere, and makes it in Mongolia rather than buying the fibre there and knitting it somewhere else. The range is 100% Mongolian cashmere across womenswear and menswear: tops and hoodies, dresses and tunic dresses, skirts, shorts and trousers, alongside accessories. The brand publishes its cashmere cycle and writes about Mongolia itself, which is a fair indication of where it thinks the value sits.
What to expect: a full winter season rather than a weekend, open 11am to 7pm, which makes this one of the longest runs on the Parasol calendar and a real shop for the stretch before Christmas. Cashmere is the category that rewards being handled before it is bought, and a ten-week room is the brand making that argument.
