Natalino brings its Neapolitan tailoring to Nolita for four days this autumn, taking over 251 Elizabeth Street from October 29 to November 1.
The brand was started in London by Nathan, who left a career in finance because he and his friends wanted the softness of bespoke Neapolitan tailoring without the bespoke price. Jackets are made in Naples and trousers in Portugal, with the rest of the range coming from makers in the UK, Italy and Japan. The house style is quietly Italian and deliberately unfussy: spalla camicia shoulders, open foreparts, a half canvassed chest and a high rise trouser, cut from hard wearing cloths chosen to age well rather than simply survive.
What to expect: the ready to wear range in the room and on the body, which matters more than usual for a label that has grown up largely online. Sport jackets and suits, trousers, shirting, knitwear, denim and accessories, with cloth you can handle and a fit you can check in a mirror rather than guess at from a size chart.
