Happy Camp3r has taken over 251 Elizabeth Street in Nolita for three days, bringing its comfort-first tie-dye to a storefront of its own.
The brand was started in May 2020 by Stephanie Devli, who studied psychology at NYU and built a clothing label around making it easier to talk about mental health. Happy Camp3r makes loungewear, sleepwear and accessories - soft, bright and deliberately unserious - and gives back to mental health organizations including NAMI, Mental Health America and the ADAA. It has grown up mostly online, so a Nolita storefront is a rare chance to see the fits in person.
What to expect: the full range to touch and try, the signature tie-dye sets the brand is known for, new styles shown in person for the first time, and sweet treats to go with them - the pop-up is called The Sweetest Stop in NYC for a reason.
The doors open to the public Friday through Sunday, 10am to 6pm, with no ticket or RSVP needed. The Thursday evening before, September 17 from 5pm to 8pm, is a ticketed first-taste preview with exclusive goodies and timed arrival slots.
