Sometimes you really do have to run for pizza! In one of the most unexpected, yet perfectly timed collaborations of marathon season, performance brand Craft partnered with beloved New York pizzeria Lucia for a pop up at 21 Spring on Thursday, October 30. The result? A delicious fusion of sport, style, and great pizza.

Guests laced up their Craft sneakers for a 5K run before returning to a lively evening filled with music, pizza, and fun. In true New York fashion, motivation was truly in the sauce. Beyond the carbs, attendees lined up for five limited tattoo designs from dice to sneakers to, of course, a pizza slice, and entered giveaways for a year of free pizza and the new Lucia x Craft Kype Pro sneakers.

Passersby couldn't help but stop and stare at the striking centerpiece through November 2: an installation featuring spinning sneakers, shipped from Sweden after its debut at an international exhibition. Because really, where else do you get to see running shoes and pizza come together quite like this?
